weight loss tips and advice?

I’m a 17 year old female, and I’ve been overweight since I was about 8 years old. It’s a hereditary thing, being half of my family is overweight, but I don’t want to and no longer will use that as an excuse. I not only want to lose weight, I need to. diabetes and high cholesterol are things that run in my immediate family. I have neither yet but I want to do whatever I can to negate my chances of getting them. I have unsuccessfully attempted to multiple times in the last 5 years to lose weight.
I’ve even tried nutrisystem, but decided that planned out diets just aren’t right for me.

I have finally built up [most] of the motivation to lose weight, and am more confident that I will be able to now that I have my license and a steady income from babysitting. I am willing to do whatever it takes to lose weight. I have a membership to the YMCA and an elliptical in my bedroom, but what I need is advice and tips.

I am a senior in high school and have an excessive amount of homework, more than the typical student in my grade. So what I would like is maybe some help with figuring out when to exercise, how often, and how long. Along with foods that I should eat more and foods that I should avoid. Any help at all would be very appreciated, and thanks in advance. 🙂 happy holidaysssssss

Congratulations on finally taking the first big step to losing weight. I personally kicked off my weight loss diet plan with the cabbage soup. I have done it a couple of times over the years and it never fails. It’s pretty simple to make, is virtually calorie free and on top of it very nutritious. It also helps your body to detox.
