Weight loss by summer tips…?

So I am looking to get in shape by summer I am 20 years old and suck at diets. My main problem is that I work in a law firm with lots of extra candy, people bringing in food for lunches, themed parties, my work also celebrate every birthday for every employee which usually entails a lunch and someone makes them a cake. Then when I go home I am the only one out of my boyfriend and his mother that cooks his mom is too old and with my super busy work schedule I have almost no time to exercise and usually eat a late dinner or a quick fast food meal. I have no problem turning down the sweets it’s the food that kills me I love all that Mexican food they bring in at work!!! I’m looking for some things that I can do in my life that will help me lose weight by summer time. I want to lose in total about 40 lbs but don’t want it to be a drastic fast change because obviously that would entail a lot of exercise and eating very healthy food.
i hate fish and sushi which sucks because I know its soooo healthy for you I cant stand eating salads for every meal it makes me very moody and just want to eat something real. I know I need to drink a lot more water and eat a lot more home cooked meals instead of fast food and not eat so close to bed but does anyone know of any other steps that I can take to lose 30-40 lbs in the next few months…? Again I am 20 years old and can lose weight pretty easily if I stick to it its just so hard so I have decided to try a different approach. I can easily lose 5 lbs a week if I ate yogurt for breakfast, sandwich or salad for lunch and salad or sandwich for dinner and lots and lots of water so 40 lbs in a few months isn’t unrealistic for my body…Thank you very much for you help!!!

Go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.
I know a woman who lost 60 pounds a month on it. She did nothing else!
