Sandy asks…

Is it possible for me to get a 6 pack and if so how?

I’m an upcoming senior in high school and I’m an offensive lineman. I’m currently like 6’1 and around 285 or 290 range. Is there anyway for me to get a six pack and if so what workouts/ diets do I need to do to get one ?

Rather than surfing the web, you can really just follow these simple rules:

-drink plenty of water
-stay far from fat-sugar-sweets-fast foods
-don’t eat after 7 pm
-eat 5 small meals including snacks(breakfast-snack-lunch-snack-dinne… snack with nuts, fruit or yogurt because this make you feel not hungry so you don’t eat much in meals-the main point is how many healthy meals we eat and how many calories we consume
-eat grilled and boiled foods(ex: grilled chicken/fish and boiled vegetables is a perfect dinner)
-drink green tea(this is really important because green tea extract speeds metabolism and so you burn more calories
– 2-3 glasses of green tea per day is really necessary)
-by exercising you make all your body work and so burning calories.
-eat well and burn more calories than you intake. And you can do both of these by dieting and exercising.

The bottom line is both how hard you want to work for it, and how disciplined you can be. Lol. I guess the real answer should be how can I be focused to follow a diet plan. That is always my problem.

I gave you diet tips because you said that you are an offensive lineman. That’s great! I used to be one too before I went into the marines. Nothing better than doing your job, and getting fit doing it. Football players get to have fun, and get fit. You’ll be fine, just follow those diet tips.
