@thekingisnear The name of the sport is weightlifting, not bodybuilding. You are seriously insulting the integrity of the sport. Is there something I am missing? Do the lifters get extra points for being “ripped” or “shredded”? The point of the sport is to lift the most weight. Aside from that, not everyone cares if they have a six pack and just because you don’t does not mean you are not healthy. Do you not know anything about how hard these guys work? They are in the gym practically every day.
@thekingisnear Wow strong fucking moron. I bet you’re part of the bench and curls crew I see all the time at the gym gossiping like women in groups of six.
for your muscles to produce the force that is needed to move these poundages and recover your body needs to be in a state of carb and calorie surplus!. and as thekingisnear stated it isnt bodybuilding. if hussain dieted he would have the best quads and abs in bodybuilding! it just isnt necessary for his sport
Yeah everyone that say “whats point of lifting weights if u look shit without shirt” Well i have been weight lifter for about 5 years.. i sure dont have six pack… but my shoulders for instance are larger and wider than any body builder and if u but any weight lifter against body builder.. body builders are JUST WEAK.. couse they pump their muscles up to look pretty , but weight lifters have so called “long muscle” which make them strong.. So i dont recret being a weight at all…..
@OtherJustin yes but its all about what you eat. If you train with heavy weights and increase them weekly you can still look good. however the bigger chubbier guys tend to lift rediculous amounts of weight (over 500 plbs) because they are powerlifters. There is a difference but you can still match the looks with the strength
